Round 3
Wizards of the Coast vs. Community Team
Ryan (W) vs. Bubba: 2-1
Eric vs. Spike (W) : 2-1
Lee (W) vs. Sam: 2-1
Tolena (W) vs. Tweaker: 2-0
Mike vs. Pete (W): 2-1
Vince (W) vs. Randy: 2-0
Aaron (W) vs. Hamtastic: 2-0
We are getting completely crushed. The matchups are just completely jaded against these decks. Lots of talk about what we would have done vs. what we decided. I don't think it's really the decks, just the nature of the game, but that's my opinion really. I'm sure if we practiced against these decks and thought about the things we are thinking of now before this challenge we'd have different results.
So far WoTC has shown us no mercy. Our first round has been an interesting one. There are two drafts for the 8 of us and the 8 of WoTC. On one of our drafts our team went 0-4 but the other picked up the slack with 4-0. Not really sure how Round 2 is going thus far but I've (Tweaker) already lost my match against Alexis. Pete's deck is absolutely redunkulous being Black/White. He and Randy teamed up during the draft picks.
It was Mike vs Mark Rosewater and like, 4 other WoTC members. Sam and me are the only winless victims. The amazing we're 8-8 as a team so far through the 2nd round.
1M_Words deck fizzled slightly on that last matchup. But the real winner of this has to be Spike who went 3-0 for the Zendikar Draft giving the community a 1 point lead. We're now 59 to 58. Next up for us in the 100 Card Singleton matchup.
But Houston, we have a problem. One of our teammates, John Baichtal, has hit one of the penicle roadblocks he could have faced. See, John is the victum of not being able to enjoy the MTGO experience until he gets to Renton, WA. John of course, is a Mac guy. That's right. A Mac. Sure he could use Parallels, VMware Fusion or any other windows emulator to get on MTGO but we're working on that for him.
In the meantime, I've been practicing the Red Deck Wins deck for him to learn and study it for him. The result of my hours of practice is this guide that I give to him until he's able to get onto MTGO himself and practice. So first lets look at the deck.
1237
As you can see this deck is pretty straight forward. It has a beautiful mana curve with a lot of beatdown options on turn 3. Here's a simple breakdown of some key drops that I've learned.
Turn 1
Don't be afraid to drop Goblin Guide and swing. Yes it lets you peak into your opponents top of the deck and it also possibly help them thin their deck if that card is a land. But use this information to your advantage though. If it's a land, so you gave them a turn 1 land, why not? They're at 18 now. All the other 1 drops, Burst Lightning and Lightning Bolt are your bread and butter cards. These are mighty powerful for either straight to the face or board control. I've won many of games simply holding onto these cards then when they're at 7 or 8 life, Burst Lightning, Burst Lightning then Lightning Bolt. Send the home crying. Another key thing though that I've learned. If you have board control (meaning you have more creatures out than he does) and you can get in more damage by killing 1 of his creatures, do so but use a 1 spell only strategy, meaning, use either Lightning Bolt (3) or Burst Lightning (2) to gain the advantage. If you dropped a Hell's Thunder and he has no defense, hold these 1 drops.
Turn 2
vs
You're going to love this here. Yes, Plated Geopede is a kick butt card, absolutely. Get him out as quick as possible so you can drop a land next turn and swing for 3. But here's something I've picked up about this card. People, fear it. Mainly for its First strike ability. But you have to think about widdling your opponent down to 0 life as quick as possible. If he has a creature without First strike or a defense of 1, drop the Hellspark Elemental down and swing. At the two drop, even if he blocks with it the Hellspark Elemental just dealt him 2 damage and he has no creatures on their side. Remember, Unearth is your friend here. If he keeps playing CIPT lands and not playing anything, play the Plated Geopede. Now something I picked up from the experts. If the player is playing White and they play Path to Exile on your Hellspark Elemental and you have a 1 drop that can deal damage (with either Burst Lightning or Lightning Bolt, target your Hellspark Elemental. His Unearth ability will still be available to you next turn and their Path to Exile was for nothing. If they target the Hellspark Elemental after its been Unearthed, of course, take the free land by all means.
If you have this card in your hand though at the 2nd turn, absolutely play the Plated Geopede. Your 3rd turn will spank them hard by dropping this land turn 3, targeting your Plated Geopede (5/3 with First strike) and then drop your Hellspark Elemental. You just dealt a potential 8 damage there. That's just rude.
Turn 3
VS
This here is a pretty simple straight forward decision as well. If you have 3 open red mana on the board and they have creatures (they better or they're dead) go for maximum damage here. Ball Lightning is a simple straight 6 damage. Even if they do have a creature on board, drop this and get that damage in as quick as possible. 6 is a lot of damage from a single card. However, there's a small draw back. He can only be played once. Hell's Thunder can possibly deal 8. It's all about the options though. Me, I prefer playing Ball Lightning on turn 3 and hold the Hell's Thunder, play him on turn 4 for 4, then turn 5 unearth him for another 4. That's 6 + 4 + 4 = 14 damage for just the 3 drops here, not to mention what you already have on board already or what could be in your graveyard. RDW is about speed of death but there's a tempo to it as well. If they are playing White, most likely you'll see things like Path to Exile on their side.
Turn 4
As I mentioned in the previous turn, if you have Hell's Thunder here, play him. I don't have a problem with Elemental Appeal by no means, he's a nice 7/1 with Trample but it all depends on what your opponent is playing. If he's playing Blue or White control cards, I'd rather him target the Elemental Appeal which is a one time shot spell vs a card that can be unearthed. This turn is also based on what you have in the graveyard, on the board and in your hand. You'll have to see if you're getting aggro or control from your opponent to make your decisions.
Turn 5
Your opponent may have just dropped a nice fatty with 4 defense by this point. You wouldn't happen to still have that Burst Lightning on you? If you do, hold on to it. Pass to his turn. Let him go to his combat step and attack. Unless he has triggered abilities like Exalted, fry that creatures tail with the instant R + 4 for 4 damage. Or, if you can go for the win, do it.
Yes I have much love for this card. If I have this in my hand first turn and no Goblin Guide, I'm dropping this card. There's only 1 in the deck and he's best played early on in the game. The 2nd turn you have 2 Red Mana available to cast something. If he's played late game and your opponent hasn't destoryed you, he's ok but you have to wait till the next turn to possibly drop a Mountain and deal that 3 damage. Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle is fun in that way.
Don't be afraid to play Obsidian Fireheart. While he's powerful at the four drop, there's only 1 in the entire deck so I didn't add him to that turn report for a reason. The only caviat to him is his activated ability. He doesn't have to be in play for the blaze counter to trigger. ALWAYS target a dual or tri land. Harrow is a popular card in this format. Players would gladly sacrifice a basic land with a blaze counter on it over a dual or tri land. Use this to your advantage. But don't go overly excited with it though. It costs 1RR to use. If I can play a spell for board control or damage or casting a creature, I'd rather him be a 4/4 fatty than the "I can ping you for 1, ha ha". He's an honorable mention at best but again, that's why there's only 1 in the deck.
If you've played your cards right and are stacked against the wall but keep drawing into mana, don't be afaid of Banefire. He's probably your best surprize here. Dropping this spell on Turn 6 or greater is complete rediculous as "If X is 5 or more, Banefire can't be countered by spells or abilities and the damage can't be prevented. So get rid of that Baneslayer Angel if you want. Hopefully you'll have great control of the board the entire game and this will just be the ultimate smack in the face.
This deck is speedy fast. Turn 4 and 5 wins is very much par for this deck. The hardest part I found was dealing with White and Blue control cards followed by the annoying Black Vampires. That freakin Vampire Nighthawk is just, rude. I have to go at it with a Lightning Bolt or 2 Burst Lightning to get rid of it.
The Sideboard
If they are playing any kind of dual or tri lands, sideboard this guy in. He is absolutely sick. Target tri lands before dual lands and always look to see which mana color you can screw them over on. Red and White are your best best stopping cards like Path to Exile, Lightning Bolt, Blightning and other rude cards. Just swap out the Goblin Guides here maybe?
This is probably a simple solution here. Change the Resounding Thunder with Chandra Nalaar. Being able to deal up to 6 damage on the 5 drop is better than the 3 damage on the 3 drop.
If they are playing cards like Safe Passage (3 drop), Angelsong (2 drop) or anything that prevents damage that prevents damage because of the speed of your deck this card is going to annoy the snot out of them. Remember, a concede is still a win here.
and
Are they gaining life on you at your expense? Then swap out for Punishing Fire and Act of Treason. He would be mainboard but for only 2 damage with a possible reoccurance, it's better to give than to receive. If they're gaining life, how are they gaining life? Maybe a Rhox War Monk or worse, Baneslayer Angel? Well grab that Rhox War Monk or Baneslayer Angel for yourself and lay the smackdown with their own creatures.
Does anyone else have any tips or suggestions for John as to how to play this deck? Please feel free to make any comments below.

If the Community team loses to the Wizards of the Coast team, all eligible Magic Online users will instead receive a non-foil version of the Gleemox promo card.
The challenges that have been presented to us are rather unique to say the least. We have the daunting challenge to come up with 8 unique 100 Card Singleton Constructed and Standard Constructed decks. Where the challenge for us lies is we cannot OVERLAP any of the cards. They must all be unique decks for BOTH challenges. This has proven to be an incredible task for everyone in the MTGO Community Team. Fortunately we have the skills and knowledge of all of the contibuting MTGO players to help us with this challenge. There have been two threads on the new Magic Online website where members of the community have been offering ideas, strategies and suggestions to help us come up with these unique decks. The 100 Card Singleton Constructed and Standard Constructed threads have been absolutely amazing. In particular, the 100 Card Singleton Constructed challenge has seen some of the best minds in the format step up and help us create not one but TWO uniquely contructed decks. Platipus10 and Zimbardo have both spearheaded this effort for the 8 of us and created this Google Spreadsheet that lays out all of the 100 Card Singleton decks for us. Hamtastic has put together this Google Spreadsheet for the Standard Constructed decks.
Standard Constructed
So where are we today? Let me start with the Standard Constructed. There are 8 decks we are currently tweaking.
We need everyone in the MTGO Community's assistance over the next week to help us practice these decks. You do NOT have to play any of these decks yourself, just bring a deck in any of the formats. Afterall, we don't know what WoTC themselves are playing but they are under the same rules as we are. How you can help is by joining us in the CCC room when you log in. Just type /join CCC inside any chat bot in the MTGO Client. You'll see all of us in there throughout the day, most of the time during the night time USA timezones. You can also help us by looking at these decks and making some comments and suggestions. Remember, we have a unique format here. While there are some cards that would go GREAT in a deck, that card may be used in a different deck so we can't really take every deck suggestion we receive.
Zendikar and Invasion Block Drafts
Aside from the 2 unique challenges we are also drafting in two formats; Zendikar and Invasion Block. We need your support and suggestions as to how to draft these formats because here's who we are going up against in both of the drafts. We've been practicing as a team Invasion Drafting. So far, SpikeBoyM has been getting all the top draws for us, so we're very hopeful!! But check out who we are facing in each of these drafts.
Has anyone seen that show Joe's vs. Pro's? Yeah, that's kind of like what is going on here for us all. But on the reals, I'm sure I can safely speak on behalf of the 8 of us when I say to Wizards of the Coast and the MTGO Community that we are very honored to have this opportunity to play for the MTGO Community. This experience thus far has been amazing for each of us personally and we are all looking forward to playing the WoTC team on the 5th and 6th of November.
I'm currently working on the design stages of tournament software and I need your input. If you have a Google account, please send me a private message here (DO NOT SEND IT HERE IN THIS THREAD FOR PRIVACY PURPOSES) letting me know so I can share with you the 2 documents. The system is very simple yet complex to design. Everything is being handled through Google Documents. Your input will be greatly appreciated.
In case you've been under a rock the past few weeks WoTC has been slow rolling the spoilers for Zendikar. In a recent article MaRo told us that there is a card that works with an M10 card to simply, kill your opponent. Many people on the interwebs thought it would be Sanguine Bond. Within a few days we saw an increase of sales for this one particular nugget and thought people were crazy. Well, that couldn't be further from the truth. Checkout this newly spoiled card from Zendikar.
+
That's right. You don't have to sacrifice a Vampire... just tap it for this card to allow you to gain life equal to the life lost this way. Wait, is that Sanguine Bond out on your battlefield?? Crap... good game.
I wonder if people would start to sideboard this little gem.
We are currently working on the login issue and hope to be back up here fairly shortly. We deeply apologize to everyone who's trying to register for the 100 Card Singleton tournament.
We've continued to push the envelope and listen to the MTGO community to making this site even better. Over the past few weeks we've been behind the scenes making advancements to the deck database area. So go test it out for us.
Just click on Beta Test area to see the new layouts and improvements. Once we have everything tested and finalized I'll make a more formal announcement. You may make all comments and suggestions here on this blog.
So I'm msg'd from a long time friend today on MSN with this bit of information:
Wizards of the Coast is pleased to announce that we're upgrading to a new community platform. We are in the process of migrating our forums to a system that includes a host of new features like friends lists, groups, an invite system and calendar, blogs and wiki.
The forums will be down until at least August 26, and possibly through the end of the month. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Attention all players. This is your open invitation to join us throughout the month of September for a 100 Card Singleton tournament sponsored by MyMTGO.com.
Game Play
New matches will be announced on Wednesday's starting on September 9th. Based on the number of registered players we will do this event in weekly waves. A waves consists of each player playing between 3-5 games between different players. Each game will play best 2-3 matchups. Everyone will have 12 days to coordinate with their opponents and meet up online to play their matches. Each win earns you 2 points with a max of 4 points per match. Each loss earns you 1 point. A draw earns 0 points. During the wave portion of the tournament players are allowed to change/modify their decks.
Each week I will place an announcement on both the home page of MyMTGO.com linking to the 100 Card Singleton Group discussion thread for that weeks matchups.
There will be between 4-6 waves depending on the number of participants. At the end of all the waves there will be a Top 8 single-day, single-elimination bracket tournament. The Top 8 players will be the players with the most points at the end of the waves. In the event of a tie in the 8th position or below there will be a single-elimination, best 2-3 matchup to determine the tie breaker. The bracket tournament will pit 1-8, 2-7, 3-6 and 4-5. During the T8 bracket tournament, players must submit to the deck database their final deck. No changes will be allowed during the bracket tournament.
Results
The results of the games must be posted in that weeks wave thread found in the 100 Card Singleton group discussion by the home team regardless if the home team wins or losses. Failure to report the matchup will result in a loss for the home team. Failure to report will cause you to forfit the match and no points will be awarded to the home team. In the event if a discrepency in results I will personally communicate with the players and make my decision on a case-by-case basis.
Prizes
Awarded at the end of the tournament are top 3 prizes.
There is no entry fee for participating in this event.
Registration
You must be a member of MyMTGO.com in order to participate in the event. You must join the 100 Card Singleton Group. Respond to the registration thread. I strongly encourage that each player only register one of their MTGO accounts for this tournament to be fair to all of the competitors. Regsitration closes on September 5th, 2009.
Promotion
I strongly encourage everyone to help promote this event. You can simply link them to this blog here or whatever you want to do. The more participants the more waves. The more waves the more fun.
Back in July I thought I would make an attempt at drafting ACR. Not too good results if I remember correctly. I'm apart of the beta for raredraft.com. Dan, maker of TCGBuddy for the iPhone, was kind enough to invite me after a mild begging. Thanks to wrongwaygoback who tweeted me the idea.
His site allows you to import draft files /My Documents/Games/Magic the Gathering/Draft if you have the draft recorder enabled). His site then integrates the data into a slick flash output. You then use the embed tool that he fixed over this weekend to get this result in a blog you write here.
After you submit your deck it goes into your TournamentDecks folder C:/Documents and Settings/{Username}/Application Data/Wizards of the Coast/Magic Online/3.0/Decks/TournamentDecks/Match_#_DATE_TIME.DEK. You upload that file to the site here on MyMTGO.com and use the newly announced deck embed feature here to get the following result.

This is pretty damn amazing if you ask me!!
I've just been granted 5 special invitations for people who want to help test this application. If you want one please message me here. Thanks Dan!!
Thanks to the efforts of Matt (webmaster410) and JacQues (Infobot) we have made a few minor changes to the deck view portion of the deck database.
EDIT WORKS
As reported by platipus10 there was a small minor inconvience regarding the edit function, mainly how it didn't edit but recreated the deck. This has been a lingering issue and has now been fixed.
FAST LINKING
We've made it even easier for you to share your decks with everyone by including 3 links on every deck. Use the URL to paste it into MTGO, use Embed Code if you want to post in a forum or the MyMTGO Blog Embed Code if you want your deck to appear in a blog. Note, the MyMTGO Blog Embed Code will only work here on MyMTGO.com. To use it just do the following:
While creating or editing your blog click on Source. Paste the MyMTGO Blog Embed Code then switch back out of source. Your result will be like the following:

Pretty amazing stuff!! Our next upgrade is actually quite amazing as soon as we get the kinks worked out from Internet Explorer.
I for one have faith in the MTGO community as a whole. That view will never really change. All players are unique to their own individualness. What I've grown to realize in this community is that there are certain people who believe that they are the community and that what they say is. Many people are trying to provoke a specific response from me so here's my response.
I really don't care the views of individuals against me. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I'm not always the most liked individual. I'm not always the most hated individual. I can only do what I choose to do and that's it. How I handle myself and the actions that come from me are of my own accord. Am I perfect? No. Do I strive for perfection? Somewhat, yeah. I like to think that I think things through and to the best of my abilities. That's all really I can give afterall. So I accept that there are things that I do really great and some things I fail miserably at.
This project has been an absolute blessing for me. The two people who helped cultivate this project (Meuslix and NeoNetGen) have sense moved away from the project but it still lives on. It is my opinion that the actions of these two people were very noble and will live on as the months and years go by for it if wasn't for their enginuity and my time, none of this would have come to fruition.
Yes I am aware of all the "bad press" that MyMTGO.com is receiving from members of the MTGO community. I'm not a fool. But I look at things a bit differently these days. The fact that players will be who they want to be and fabircate what they want to fabricate is completely up to them. I'm not going to play their game though really nor to I have any interest in playing it. You may think I'm a coward for this decision but it's my decision.
Thank you to everyone who has been so kind to me and the project over the past 7 months. I'm continuing to looking forward to helping the MTGO community however I can and feel that this project is continuing to grow in an extremely healthy pace. We're doing things here no other site offers the MTGO community and it's really the players (who both support and loath) that make this project possible.
I've been looking at how to continue the advancements of this project and I have stumbled upon a product that many of you may be interested in. I have the availability to get forums installed on MyMTGO.com. But the problem I have and can see is what would be the differences between Groups and Forums? Here's a small list I've come up with to support the arguement.
As it stands now, every verified member of this community has the ability to create their own group. I think this is really amazing as it gives people the ability and control to be able to help shape the community and its needs. It's like starting up your own little club. You find people with common interested and you discuss amongst yourselves your little club topic. I for one love it. But there's a draw back. There are groups that have little to no activity in them. There are groups with no to few members in it. So the upside is you can talk about what it is you want to talk about, the downside is you can have groups that have little to nothing to talk about once said group is created.
But there's something to be said about this though. MyMTGO.com, as a whole and a project, has always been about doing things that hasn't been seen in the MTGO community. We were the first to do username verification with Infobot preventing username-snipping. We were the first to give people an out-of-MTGO identity. We were the first to give the players the control to be able to create groups. We were the first to have the ability to let you import your MTGO collection into the website and browse a deck with the website showing you which cards you are missing (if any). All of these first.
People wanted an Arcade so they could play games. I did that but hesitantly. Arcades on websites are already done. But, it's what some of you wanted so it's done. Now the option of me having Forums is upon me and I'm asking, do you guys want this? One key advantage to having Forums (I promissed Huma I'd be looking into this issue here) is I can set moderators. But Forums are constrictive to what I create, not the users. That seems limiting in an environment like this. Freedom to create what you want. So I'll leave it up to the members of the site. Let me know your opinion and what you think. Kill Groups and Get Forums?

I'd like to get everyone's feedback regarding the Latest News feature on MyMTGO.com. Currently it's been populated primarily with MTGO: tags. But I'd like to expand on it. I do occassionally do SITE: related news but I try to limit those for the sake of the game and not just the site. So I'd like to open the floor to everyone to throw in some creative idea's towards developing more MTGO related news.
This was a pretty neat idea by Syco11978. Since we have the ability for players to import their collections into MyMTGO.com, why not a simple way to see what cards you are missing from each set? So I took the concept and ran with it. The page can be accessed from the My Apps -> Collection page. I broke the page up into individual sets as well as rarities. I figured pauper players would appreciate that type of breakdown. But I decided to take it a step further.
After a couple of weeks of testing I'm proud to announce the development of TWYGS (The Way You Get Stuff). TWYGS is a simple set of open sourced output that MTGO webshops can impliment to allow all MTGO players to automatically load their wish list into their cart. We've officially developed and support a number of TWYGS.
wishlist.wl
This wish list is an UTF-8 file generated by MyMTGO.com. It is comma delimited. Set + Number is represented by a unique card identifier for a specific card. This file is generated by the Set Completion tool available by accessing My Apps -> Collection. This is available to all registered players who have uploaded their collection to the website regardless if their collection is set as public or private. The only qualification is that you have imported your collection. This format supports the SPECIFIC card that a player is looking for as opposed to a generic version.
Format: Qty, Set+Number
Example Output: 4, 10E61
Note: In the example the wishlist.wl file is specifically asking for a 10th Edition copy of Wrath of God.
{deckname}_wishlist.txt
This wish list is a UTF-8 generate file generated by MyMTGO.com. It is space delimited. This wishlist simply requests for the card itself and is not set specific. This wishlist is MTGO Wish List compatible.
Format: number card name
Example: 1 Wrath of God
TWYGS is open source and can be utiliized by anybody and anyone. All that I ask that you tell players how to build their own TWYGS and link them to MyMTGO.com.
I realize this has taken me a while to actually write about. The matter of a Top User in a point system like what we have was a very popular feature of the site in the earlier days of MyMTGO.com that the removal of said such point system really did take a major effect on the system activity. Let me recap what actually happened to cause the original point system to be deactivated.
When I enabled the point system on MyMTGO I had it enabled but really not configured properly. That was a mistake on my part initially in not realizing the potential for all the points that could be earned. When I realized what needed to be done to get things under control there were a small handful of people who had a large amount of earned points. In addition to the points earned, I had a system where points could be converted to MTGO Event Tickets. I think the ratio was 1000:1. And it was amazing to see the activity sky rocket the way that it did. Someone then showed me how people could earn essentially hundres of points within a few steps and potentially ruin the entire reward system. After this was verified I had no choice but to take down the entire point system for every player. I did reward every player who earned 1000 points with an event ticket. But the damage was already done in my eyes those as site operator. People enjoyed fighting out for that top spot or even breaking the Top 10. I'm also afraid to admit we, as a site, lost a few players who were heavily active on the system who may or may not have earned points legitamatly.
Over the next couple of months I learned the software a bit more and now have re-initialized the point system. Unfortunantly (at the moment) I have removed the reward system for converting 1000 points into an MTGO Event Ticket. I do have other plans at this time to reward top active players and I think, at least at the end, everyone will appreciate all the effort that has gone into bringing this point system back to MyMTGO.com. One of the key factors has been that now, instead of disabling point system-wide, I can now disable points on an individual player level. There is now also a system-level audit trail of rewarded points that I have access to at the admin level to see rewarded points.
I am currently working on a different type of reward system for spending earned points. I would love to tell you I'll have it up in a matter of days but, as I have learned, it's very important to make sure that I have things setups properly at a system level before announcing to everyone what that new system is. So far after about a week of the points being active, things are looking like they are working properly and that is extremely encouraging. Activity is up, player interaction with the system is up and overall I'm very pleased with the results. I hope everyone shoots for the top points :)
Starting with today's official decks provided by Wizards of the Coast, MyMTGO.com will be publishing a new awards banner for every Top 8 player and attaching them to their personal profile.
I'm still working on fine-tuning the look and feel of each of the banners. Some of the current MyMTGO.com winners are m0x, TheFriendlyHippo and Bazaar of Baghdad. This system even works for players who have yet to register with the system. When they do, their award banners will be waiting for them with open arms
As an open invitation, I'd also like to welcome any and all PRE (Player Run Events) to message me with winners and I will be more than happy to place a winner's banner for each of the winners. PRE hosts, please message me directly if you are interested in this.
Since the launch of the deck database people keep asking me "When will you finally support MTGO DEK files?". Well, I'm proud to say that thanks to the efforts of jacQues (Infobot) we are now fully compatible with DEK files. You can still utilize the TXT in addition to the new DEK files, so it does BOTH.
I am very proud to announce two new Infobot commands to use directly with MyMTGO.com. Simply open a chat within Infobot and send it a private message. I'd like to personally thank jacQues for all his continuing efforts for the MTGO and MyMTGO.com convergence.
ME
Syntax: me {text}
Output: It will automatically update your MyMTGO.com status profile in addition to making a formal announcement of your status change on the home page.
Notes: You may use the me command once every 5 minutes. This is done within the MTGO client itself. In addition when using the me command you do NOT need a / in front of me command itself.
Correct: me is hungry.
Incorrect: /me is hungry.
YE
Syntax: ye
Output: Within MTGO and the Infobot private chat box ye will display to you the last 20 players updates there within the MTGO client itself.
I'm really proud to announce a few advancements to our blog software. I think you guys will like this stuff. But before I tell you what they are, I want to personally thank Hamtastic for all of his personal efforts to help bring to the MyMTGO community a feature you guys asked for. So be sure to thank him. So, without futher adu, I'm proud to announce two new advancements for blogs.

To use the new Autocard feature do the following steps.
Step 1) Type the name of the card you want to Autocard.

Platipus10 did 87,936,232,222,009,900,000,000,000 points of damage.
Both PlanetWalls and ChrisKool entries were disqualified for not having a whole number as a final result.
I will be working with AJ_Impy, who is currently in 1st place to validate his deck and gameplay. I will make a formal announcement to the winners of the first deck challenge once decks have been properly validated and results are verified.
myMTGO.com is proud to announce the development and execution of the new deck database. The deck database is the only MTGO user-centric system that allow's MTGO players to be able to import, view, download, rate and comment on. We've taken the standard MTGO deck and built it around the MTGO player's experience with a bunch of special features.
How does it work?
Every user has the ability to upload and contribute decks to the deck database. We've made that process very simple to use.
On the tool bar, select My Apps -> Decks. Then click Upload Deck. You can upload a TXT based deck for import right now (DEK support to come later)
To save an MTGO deck as a TXT file in MTGO just save the file as a Local Text Deck.
When you upload your deck the fields for the deck are automatically populated with the cards information. Always remember to give a description on the deck. You have the ability to keep your deck as public or private.
So how is ours different from everyone else?
Well, great question. In a number of ways you could say the development of the Deck Database application was built with the MTGO player in mind. So we've added a few additional features to give the experience of the MTGO player a more enjoyable one.
Import Collection
myMTGO.com supports the ability for every player to import their collection to their personal profile. Go to My Apps -> Collection. Browse to the export of your MTGO collection and then click Upload. When it's all said and done you will see your collection listed. As an additional feature, we have built privacy rights into the application so you can keep your collection hidden from your profile as well as card search results but still utilize the features of the application. As your collection grows with each new trade simply import your collection to the system to keep it up-to-date.
If you've sucessfully imported your collection to myMTGO, you can now fully utilize one of the biggest features of the project. While you are looking at a deck, the application will automatically show you which cards you are missing from your collection automatically. That's right, no more buying cards that you thought you needed for a deck you want to try out. But that's not all. Ever wonder what that Wish List is when you are in trade? Well, I'd like to think WoTC built that for me (but they didn't) and this application. If there are cards that you are missing for any deck you can save a Wish List which is compatible with MTGO's Wish List feature.
Show Deck's Against Collection
If you've sucessfully imported your collection to myMTGO, you can now fully utilize another huge feature of the project (my favorite features really). You can see a quick search result of decks that you can build with your current collection WITHOUT having to buy any additional cards. Yes, I just said that. You can SEE all the decks that user's have contributed and if your collection has all the cards that support it, you can play it. That's just awesome :D
Add a deck to your profile
I've seen on multiple website's (mainly forums) where people say/announce what type of decks they play. Well, I thought that was a neat idea, so we have it.
Future development
Support for the import of DEK files.
Rules engine to show the format a deck playable in.
Personal Comments
I wanted to take this time to thank a few people for helping me with this project.
To the design team (Cardhoarder and Silenus) for their valued input on how this application should run, function and to enhance the over all MTGO experience for the MTGO player.
To the card team (Infobot and macrocide) for all of their efforts to providing me with the card information for the deck database.
To the developer, Qiao. Without your endless hours of development and committment to this project none of this could have ever happened. Qiao never even heard of Magic the Gathering but took the time to learn and understand the game and developed this amazing application.
