The main flaw of this deck is the strong relying on Tortured Existence. Without it the only choice is to wait and try to stay alive with the help of Elvish Visionary (chump-blocker) and Walls of roots (block & mana). After you get the Tortured Existence in play, the strategy is to dredge and exchange creature; the Carrion Feeder is used to sacrifice Faceless Butcher and Mesmeric Fiend with the ability on the stack, to avoid any possible return of the target. Also you can use it to recurse on creatures that you already played (for example Tilling Treefolk if you need mana).
