8th Place Classic COK Block Qualifier Event #176896 02/01/2009 This isn't as good as my Wildfire deck from the day before. Burning Wish is great on paper but didn't work as well in practice (they replaced the maindeck Wildfires). Burning Wish is hard to play though, and I may just be unused to them. However, I think Aftershock might be better than either since my losses tended to come from stuff like Tombstalker, and it kills hosers like Null Rod while keeping the ability to mana screw. Playing 3 Mountains over Crystal Veins is probably a wash, but they really ought to be City of Traitors either way (I would run 4 of those).
